The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be released the 15th of August 2016, just a few weeks from now.  There have been a few spec leaks that will put to rest the video capabilities of the phone.  While these may change at release time; the amount of confirmation makes the information more reliable so close to the unveil.

The camera specs look to be identical in scope and capability to that of the excellent Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Active and S7 Edge which is one of the best performing portable phone cameras ever released. Low noise, great detail and dynamic range that is orders of magnitude better than what the same flagships sported just a short 4 years ago.

Rumored Specs on the Galaxy Note S7

As you can see the camera will be capable of 4k video at up to 30fps and 1080p at a maximum of 60fps.  The Slow motion will be capped at 720p HD with 240fps as the spec. This is exactly the same as the Galaxy S7 line.  With what appears to be the same sensor and the same lens module; it is understandable that the slow motion specs would remain identical and at the same time slightly behind the iPhone 6s and or Nexus 6P which have 120fps 1080p with pretty acceptable quality.

The Slow motion quality on the Galaxy S7 camera module is very good for a phone and it can be used easily to inter-cut with TV or other type of productions if the shot is planned and exposed well.  While you will not have manual settings control on these phones while recording slow motion; the shutter speed is high on a sunny day as the excellent sample below illustrates.
