- Bluetooth 4.1
- Not big battery (less than 3000)
- Android 5.0
- Desire Sense 7.0
- Launch Date Feb 2015
This excerpt from the rumor at Android Authority Could signal the first 480fps capable smartphone of 2015:
“An interesting feature of note in the MT6795 chip is that it supports 1080p video recording at 480 frames per second, allowing for impressive slow motion shots. This may explain why HTC chose this chip for a phone in its camera focused Desire series”
HSC: We still do not have any confirmation that this feature will be included but the specs do show a 20MP sensor for the camera which the Mediatek demo phone unit shown last year with the Sony IMX220, 20.7MP sensor as a requirement ; could be the sensor used in the HTC phone. The 480fps needs a combination of the Sony Sensor and the Mediatek chip to work in concert in order to be functional.
If this is indeed the same combination, we may be in for quite a shock to slow motion on mobile devices this month. 1080p 480fps on the palm of your hand sounds just like science fiction and this year might be the time frame from that fantasy to become reality.
In other news:
We expect the Nikon 1 J5 camera to be announced in a few days which might bring increased slow motion specs in higher resolution. We still have no leaks or info on the full specs. Stay tuned!
